In a remarkable display of skill and determination, they defeated the home team, Cameroon, with a scoreline of 3:1, and also trounced North Africa’s emerging power, Egypt, in straight sets, 3:0. A significant part of this victory can be attributed to the exemplary performances of our star players. Opposite SHARON CHEPCHUMBA, a two-time MVP, outside hitter VERONICA OLOUCH, MVP once, and setter EMMECULETA NEKESA, all of whom played brilliantly under the guidance of Coach PAUL BITOK.
